This is a set of 3 blue bottles designed by Salvador Dali for Rosso Antico .
Rosso Antico is a dessert wine produced in San Lazzaro di Savena, Italy. Dali was commissioned by Rosso Antico producers in the early 1970s to create these surrealist images on their bottles as part of a promotional campaign. This series was called ''The Famous Bottles Illustrated by Salvador Dali.'' The molds of these bottles were destroyed in the very early 1970s to ensure limited edition status. They are rarely offered for sale and are highly collectible.
The three bottles are three different shades of blue. Each bottle has a different design. Each bottle is numbered on the back as number 1, 2 or 3.
