Vintage Nightstand on Compass Legs, 1950s

Mid-century, vintage, Scandinavian-style nightstand with 1 drawer on long, compass legs, circa 1950s.

Piece is made of wood, with a golden-oak colored veneer finish and a single drawer with its 2, original, brushed metal knobs. The legs are made of solid wood and 2 front legs, have brass-colored tips (see photos.)

Piece is in overall very good, original and vintage condition with light signs, marks of age and previous use commensurate with time, on the overall structure (see photos), top, edges, legs and feet (see photos with a 1 centime coin for perspective), but nothing whatsoever that affects its functionality or beauty. It has maintained a lovely patina of time, with rich, warm hues ranging from brown to honey, which only enhance its sleek, smooth lines.
It has only gently be cleaned with respect to the wonderful, original patina of time.

The inside of the drawer is clean, with very lights signs of age and usage (see photo.) The 2, original, brushed metal pull knobs, add a nice accent of color. The drawer opens and closes perfectly. (Dimensions listed below.)

Not only a great piece to use as originally intended in a bedroom, but can also work very well in a smaller living space, entryway, loft, den or living room, as a small accent, side, phone or plant table, that will only compliment any given space.
