Mid-century, vintage, storage cabinet/unit, circa 70's.
The structure is made of wood. It has a striped teak-colored finish on the top, side panels and lower part of the front. The upper section of the front, has a mahogany-colored, veneer finish.
The piece rests on four, black, metal legs. (They have been refinished.) Original, black, plastic legs tips are present.
The inside of the cabinet has an ample storage capacity.
It measures: H: 33 cm x W: 117.5 cm x D: 45 cm.
In order to open the top, one needs to first slide it backwards, then lift up into position. Please note: when the top is slid all the way back, its depth then becomes 73 cm. The height becomes 100 cm, when the top is in a full, upright position (see photos.)
Piece is in overall, very good, original and vintage condition with some light marks, signs of age and previous usage commensurate with time, on the top (see photos next to a 1 cent coin for perspective), side panels and edges (see photos.) Note: 1 very small, old mark of usage on the top, right-hand corner, and another small mark, on the right hand, front edge (see photos.) A miniscule, old mark, on the middle of the bottom of the left-hand-side panel, and some old marks of usage at the back (see photos.) Some light areas of faded color on the mahogany veneer (see photo.) Some old marks/scratches, and signs of usage, inside the bottom and panels of the storage space (see photos.)
The opening/sliding mechanisms, are fully functional.
It is solid and stable.
All photos taken in natural, outdoor light, so colors may vary, based upon brightness, angles and perspective in which they are viewed.
