‘Marchande de Fleurs’ by Jacques TARIS

Mid century portrait of a young woman selling flowers, acrylic on canvas, circa 1960. Thought to be modelled on Françoise Hardy, the celebrated French singer, songwriter and actress, known to have been admired by the likes of Bob Dylan, Miles Davis and Mick Jagger. Large canvas, well-preserved vibrant colours, signed, framed and in good vintage condition.
