Desirable large easy chair from the Scandia series by Hans Brattrud.

Very expressive design, and most symbolic for post-war Skandinavian design, reflecting the new era of consumer prosperity during the fifties and sixties of the 20th century. Together with designers such as Arne Vodder, Hans Wegner and Arne Jacobsen, Brattrud created worldwide respect for Skandinavian furniture design. Very good condition, well inspected on every detail; all plywood rosewood laminated slats are solid and free of cracks, all there are no re-weldings or broken parts in the metal frame. Complete with the original black headrest. Manufacturers metal sign.
