Vintage Bird Lounge Chair by Harry Bertoia for Knoll, 1970s

Beautiful, large Harry Bertoia Bird Chair with black full cover for Knoll International.

The special thing about the Knoll Bertoia Bird Chair offered here:
It is the rare - made only for a short time - version. The struts run vice versa, that is, in the opposite direction from the standard variant:
- The struts coming from the top end in the front area, i.e. "behind" the horizontal and in the back area "in front" of the horizontal.
- See red markings on the last two pictures.
- This short production was confirmed by Knoll Milan through the furniture store Markanto in Cologne.
- A REALLY RARE item- as it hardly exists anymore.

The chair is in good condition and the cover - shows hardly any signs of use (rather from the inside - see pictures):
